Tucked away in a side street of the Gracia neighbourhood and a few steps away from the elegant and busy Passeig de Gracia, in the heart of Barcelona, you will find ´The Original´ Old Fashioned Bourbon & Rye Cocktail House.
For us at ‘The Original’ Old Fashioned, we pride ourselves in an attentive friendly service. A bespoke experience, cocktail connoisseurs and mixologists, whichever drink is your favourite we have it and make it to perfection.
We offer one of the biggest Bourbon and Rye selections in Spain with over 100 different bottles, including the Papy Van Winkle Collection from 10 to 20 year old’s.
All bottles are on offer to taste at the bar or simply contact us for a private master class and we can arrange a personalized tasting with the history behind each bottle.

Our history
SINCE 2012
Old Fashioned opened its doors in December 2012, led by Bruno Rodrigues who brings passion, knowledge, professionalism and the highest quality and standards to this bar.
He has trained many talented bar staff in his time and we are very proud of our team who continue to give the best service and attention to details to you, our customers.
In 2023, Bruno was joined by his friends and business partners of their sister venue next door, Nola Cocktail Bar & Food.

They have either worked before at The Old Fashioned or were regulars in front of the bar since its first days and together they offer a new cocktail menu along with a tasty selection of bar snacks and hot American sandwiches, a perfect combination.
Our doors are always open, every day, for anyone interested in the craft of cocktails, or to explore a special bottle from around the world.
